The Interpersonal Effectiveness group therapy program supports individuals in developing practical skills to communicate more effectively, navigate relationships, and manage challenging interpersonal situations. The group provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can explore patterns in their relationships and learn strategies to express their needs, set boundaries, and maintain self-respect.

Sessions draw from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), with a focus on developing effective communication, managing conflict, maintaining relationships, and balancing personal needs with the needs of others. Participants will have opportunities to learn and practise practical skills for asking for what they need, saying no, setting boundaries, and responding more effectively during difficult interactions.

Participants are encouraged to arrive on time and bring a journal for personal notes or reflections. Regular attendance helps build trust and cohesion within the group. Confidentiality, active listening, and mutual respect are essential to maintaining a safe and productive therapeutic environment. Light refreshments will be available during breaks.

Limited spots are available to maintain a focused and supportive group size. Early booking is recommended to confirm attendance.
