Appointments and Fees

Appointments

  • No referral required
  • In-person or online
  • Private and comfortable Perth offices. Scheduled visits to southwest regional areas.
  • Weekdays, after hours and on Saturdays

We will discuss whether weekly or fortnightly sessions are best suited to you. Once that has been determined, a session will be booked in for you. The appointment can be rescheduled if unforseen circumstances arise. We will accommodate the changes as best as possible.

Fees
The APS National Schedule of Recommended Fees 2025-2026 has the standard 46 to 60 minute consultation fee at $318. To ensure accessibility, we offer two main session rates below this and review our fees annually.

A GP referral under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is required to access Medicare rebates (available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year if eligible).

  • $280 per 50 minute consultation
(This applies if you have a MHCP referral through your GP. This includes time spent outside of your session for additional administrative and reporting time required for fulfilling Medicare documentation requirements.)
  • $200 per 50 minute consultation
(This applies if you don’t have a MHCP, or once the Medicare- subsidised sessions have been used.)

Medicare Rebate

  • Rebate per session: $96.65 (Your rebate may be higher if you have reached the Medicare safety net)
  • Out-of-pocket cost: $183.35 per session

The full session fee is paid prior to your appointment. After your session, you will receive a receipt to claim your rebate directly from Medicare. Downloading the free Medicare app to your phone to claim the rebate may be helpful.

Payments
Payment is by direct deposit 24 hours prior to your appointment.
If payment is not received, your appointment time is not confirmed and may be allocated to another patient.

Private Health Insurance

Rebates are also available from most private health funds depending on your level of cover. Please direct your receipt to your insurer for any applicable rebates. However, please note you can only claim either a Medicare rebate or private health insurance – ie. not both.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, 24 hours notice is required.

Please understand that cancellations given with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full fee.

As regular weekly or fortnightly sessions are encouraged, that time is reserved for you. Changes to scheduled appointment times are accommodated as best as possible.

Appointments are for 50 mins.
