The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training is designed to teach participants how to provide initial support to someone who may be experiencing a mental health problem or crisis until professional help is available or the situation improves.
This training covers a range of programs, including Standard, Youth, Teen, Conversations about Suicide, and Conversations about Non-Suicidal-Self-Injury. Each course explores how to identify signs and symptoms of mental health concerns, how to approach and communicate with individuals in distress, and how to guide them toward appropriate professional or community support.
Through structured discussions, role-play, and evidence-based frameworks, participants gain practical tools to respond with care and confidence. Completing the course equips attendees to become Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders), prepared to offer informed support when it matters most.
