Movie Yoga combines film viewing with reflective discussion and mindfulness practice. This unique group experience uses selected films as a springboard for exploring emotional awareness, self-understanding, and connection. Participants are invited to watch a film together, then engage in guided reflection and conversation facilitated by a trained therapist.
The session aims to create a relaxed and engaging atmosphere where participants can explore the psychological and emotional themes presented in the film and how these relate to their own lives. Movie Yoga blends the enjoyment of cinema with opportunities for personal insight and shared learning within a supportive group environment.
Instructions & Etiquette
Please arrive 15 minutes early to find seating and settle in before the film begins. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Participants are encouraged to keep phones off during the session and maintain a respectful and confidential atmosphere during post-movie discussions. Light refreshments will be provided during intermission.
